Tonight we cooked damper on the open fire - it was yummy! We all got some flour, some butter and salt and mixed it with milk to make the damper dough. Then we wrapped it around a stick and cooked it in the fire. It took a long time to cook, and the fire was hot, so we had some stories while we waited.

The most important thing was to wash our hands first.
